I need help trying to decide on which TV to purchase. I have narrowed my search down to 2 LCD HDTV’s

42 inch Insignia ( best buy brand ) 1080p
Which one do u think will out perform the other? I have a HD DVD player and a Pioneer surround sound, and Xbox 360 console., that will be hooked up to this.

The settings right out of the box were horrible. I have digital cable and several HD channels available but for the most part, TV is still stuck on SD. Can somebody provide me with the best settings for this TV?
