I have a 42 inch LCD samsung tv flat no back…on a swivel stand…Looks good. Well i went to a friends they had a 50 inch DLP samsung with a back on it but not a huge back…and it actually had me thinking it looked better…i dont know if it was the size mine being 42 and his 50…or mine being LCD and his DLP…i compared playing the ps3 on both and his seemd to look better to me. So is it size or is dlp better than lcd…both were 1080i tvs.
And if you can suggest a good tv.size(probably 50inch),,.brand,style,1080i or 1080p…this will be for my living room to watch blu rays, tv, and play games but games only sometimes

I just bought a new LCD t.v. 42 inch, now it says I can attach my laptop to it, I bought a S video cord. Attached it to my laptop the other to the computer.. and NOTHING. I clicked the input button and clicked the Svideo source thing on it .. and it says No signal.. ?? What am I doing wrong? It’s a Polaroid 42 inch LCD . thanks so much

I got a 42 in, Vizio LCD tv and when i am just watch tv not when i play video games or dvds a little 1 in black box flash’s on different parts of the screen any one know what this might be or how to make it stop

I bought one about 3 mo’s ago all worked well but last night I was changing channels and it hung on channel 34- I could not get it to show are change and then it started turning it self off and on I could not get it to do any thing so I unplugged it and went to sleep when I woke up it works “ What Happen???

I just bought this tv. It doesn’t come with built-in tuners. I cannot afford “digital” cable. What is my best option to utilize this tv without spending an arm and a leg. I saw the KWorld 1600 LCD TV Box TV Tuner ( VGA NTSC ) – KW-TV1600R as an option, however it only goes up to 1600 x 1200 while the tv goes up to1920 x 1080. Will this pose a problem?

okay only on of them does this: but when the screen is black or just dark 2ss thick purple horizontal lines crawl slowly upwards can I fix this or is it permanent? clue: a black-light is behind the TV does that have anything to do with it? I’m thinking of taking this TV back.

I turn my television on, but nothing shows up on the screen! It just wigged out while I was playing a video game and now when I turn it on, there is no picture, no sound, no nothing! The background just lights up. When I press the menu button on the remote, the menu won’t even show up. What could be wrong, and how can I fix this?

ok like i got it on impluse…my friend had one without a stand and it fell and broke lol!!!

so where can i get a stand so it can stand up properly….i tried googling it and i cant find any!!!!
