Well i have a 32 inch lcd 720p poloroid tv. I want to upgrade. My choices are a plasma 50 inch samsung 720p or 42 inch lcd poloroid 1080p. the difference in price is around $200. am i going to be happy with a 8 inch difference for 1080p or is it worth it to get the 50 inch that’s only 720p?
I mostly would use this tv for video gaming and i sit about 6.5 feet away. i could get as far back as 17 feet. I really would like the 50 inch. because paying 600$ just for a 10 inch difference doesn’t seem worth it

Hi, I have a 32 inch 720p poloroid tv. I really like the color and that there is no glare, but there is one problem its a little small. I use the tv with my xbox 360. walmart has the deal for a samsung 50 inch 720p plasma or a 42 inch 1080p lcd. what one should i get? I sit about 10 feet away from the TV. Is the samsung going to look good? When I went to the store i looked at the plasma’s and they looked very dark. Is this just in the settings or are these the way plasmas are.
These are the BF deals at walmart
What one would you choose
Thanks in advance!

I want a good quality 42 inch because i’m suppose to buy one by next week. I want a TV with good contrast ratio and good color picture. I want a set that will be good with my video game console and my Blu-Ray. I wanted a Sony brand but it has low contrast ratio. There is a Toshiba Rezga 42 inch with 8000:1 ratio and PixelPure meaning it has “300mhz”.
P.S. Do all the new 2008 Plasma models still have burn-in problems?.
